Ingredients
- Sandwich steaks (6 pack)
- 1 and 1/2 white onion
- Kewpie mayonnaise
- Branston pickle spread
- Sliced cheese
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seed Turkish rolls
Method
- Add finely chopped onion to a frypan with a dash of oil and cook until golden. Once golden, add in 3 tbsps of brown sugar, making sure to stir regularly. Once the brown sugar becomes thick and syrupy and the onions are brown and floppy, remove from the pan and set aside.
- Fry the sandwich steaks for 1-2 minutes each side until thorough cooked. Once cooked, remove and place aside.
- Assemble the sandwich, on one side place Branston pickle and cheese. On the other side, place a generous amount of kewpie mayonnaise, then place on the onions, followed by the steaks. After this, put on salt and pepper as you see fit.
- Finally, close the sandwich and enjoy!
