Ingredients
- 8x soft boiled eggs
- Soy sauce
- Toasted sesame seeds
- Spring onions
- Garlic
- Red chilli
- Water
- Dashi Tsuyu
- Honey
Method
- Place eggs in pot of gentle boiling water with 1 tsp of salt and a tbsp of white vinegar.
- Gently boil eggs for 6 mins, stirring occasionally to keep yolks centred.
- Take off boil and place eggs in iced water.
- Meanwhile make marinade by placing soy sauce, dashi, chili, garlic, spring onions, toasted sesame seeds and honey. Stir to combine.
- Carefully peel shells off eggs and place in marinade and turn to coat them.
- Leave eggs to marinate in refrigerator for minimum of 6 hours.
- Serve on bed of soft worm rice or Noodles.
