Ingredients
- 500 gram chicken thigh
- 1 packet Singapore noodles
- 2 grated carrots
- Quarter finely chopped white cabbage
- 100 gram frozen peas
- 1 brown onion
- 2 small shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 table spoon minced ginger
- 1 cup soy sauce
- Half cup oyster sauce
- Quarter cup rice wine vinegar
- 3 table spoons sirachia sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 2 table spoons sesame oil
- 4 teaspoons Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chilli Oil (to garnish)
- Sesame seeds (to garnish)
- Spring onion (to garnish)
Method
- Step 1: brown the diced chickenStep 2: add sliced onion once brownedStep 3: add grated carrots and finely chopped cabbage Step 4: prepare noodles according to cooking instructionsStep 5: make sauce by combining: soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar, sirachia, honey, grated garlic & gingerStep 6: add sauce to chicken and vegetables and mix and allow sauce to simmer Step 7: add noodles to pan and mix through throughly ensuring noodles are well coated with sauce Step 8: serve into bowls, garnish with sesame seeds, spring onion and chilli oil
