Ingredients
- 100 grams short grain rice
- 1 & 1/4 Tbsp Obento Rice wine vinegar for making Sushi rice
- Kewpie mayonnaise
- 1 sheet Obento Yaki nori
- Sliced cucumber, avocado and 1/2 of a 95 gm can of tuna
- Obento Sliced Pickled ginger
- Soy Sauce
Method
- Cook rice according to pkt instructions then drain and mix through 1 & 1/4 Tbsp Obento Rice wine vinegar whilst rice is hot
- Place 1 sheet Yaki nori, shiny side down on bamboo rolling mat and once rice is cool, spread over sheet leaving 2cm strip at far end, free of rice
- Squirt a line of Kewpie mayonnaise along centre of rice then place cucumber, avocado and tuna over the mayonnaise
- Lift up bamboo mat closest to you and start rolling quite firmly and when nearing the end, slightly wet the bare Yaki nori strip with water then continue rolling to join the edges of the nori
- Cut roll in half or into smaller rounds and serve with Obento Pickled ginger and Soy sauce
