Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sushi Rice
- 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp White Sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cans tuna
- 2 Tbsp Kewpie Mayo
- 2 Sheets Nori
- Sesame seeds
- Soy sauce
- Wasabi
- Ginger
Method
- Cook your rice in your rice cooker. 2 cups with the desginated amount of water. This is the best and easiest way for perfect rice every time! Note: please make sure to wash your rice!
- While the rice is cooking prepare the filling. Empty the 2 tuna cans into a small bowl. Add the kewpie mayo and sesame seeds if desired.
- When the rice is cooked, add in the rice wine vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir to combine and cool down the rice.
- While the rice is cooling, cut your nori sheets in half.
- Once the rice is cooled it’s time to assemble. If you don’t have moulds you can lay down a piece of plastic wrap. Place some rice in your mould or on top of the plastic wrap. Make a small well in the centre to add in the filling. Put some more rice over the filling to close it up. Mould the rice into the shape of a triangle. Add in the nori around the rice.
- Enjoy right away! You can add ginger, sesame seeds or soy sauce on the side.
