Ingredients
- Obento yaki nori
- 2 cups of brown or white rice
- 2 cans of tuna, drained, flaked
- 1tbs Kewpie mayo
- 1 Avocado peeled, thinly sliced
Method
- Cook the rice in a rice cooker
- Combine tuna with kewpie mayo
- Place sushi mat on a clean surface, then place yaki nori sheet shiny side down on mat. Spread cooked rice over yaki nori leaving a 2cm border along the top edge.
- Place some of the tuna mixture and sliced avocado along the lower end of the rice.
- Hold filling in place while rolling mat over to enclose rice and filling.
- Use a sharp knife to slice sushi into 2cm slices. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger and kewpie mayo.
