
Ingredients
- 1/2 red onion finely sliced, 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200g minced beef
- 20g diced carrot, 50g water chestnuts diced
- 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper, Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauce for San Choy Bao
- 4 lettuce leaves, trimmed to form cups
Method
- Heat oil in pan or wok over medium heat, fry onion and garlic 1-2 mins til soft
- Add beef, salt and pepper, stir fry for 2 mins. Add 1 tbsp water and cover for 1 minute. Add carrot and Volcom water chestnuts and stir fry briefly. Stir in one packet of Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauce for San Choy Bao and cook fir 2 minutes.
- Place lettuce cups on plates, spoon meat mixture into lettuce cups. Serve immediately.
