Ingredients
- 500grams beef mince
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 zuchinniis, diced
- 227g tin water chestnut slices, diced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup Fried shallots
- 1 onion, diced
- Lettuce leaves
- 1 TBSP Chinese cooking wine
- 2 TBSP oyster sauce
- 1 TBSP mirin
- 1TBSP Brown sugar
- Splash of sesame oil
- 1 TBSP oil
Method
- In a large pan, heat oil and cook onions until translucent (approx 3 mins).
- To make the sauce mix together the oyster sauce, sesame oil, mirin and cooking wine.
- Add the mince to onions and brown. Add diced vegetables to the.mince mixture and cook for approx 5 mins. Add sauce mixture to the pan with the mince and stir through until warm.
- Serve the mince on top of the lettuce leaves, topped with bean sprouts and fried shallots. Enjoy!
