Ingredients
- Short grain rice
- 1 teaspoon mirin
- 200 grams of scotch steak/wagyu
- quarter avocado
- 1 cherry tomatoe
- 1 egg
- half a cucumber
- quarter sheet of nori
- 2 tsp of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of squid brand fish sauce
Method
- cook rice in rice cooker for 10 mins
- while waiting for the rice to cook. pan fry beef steak 2 mins on each side and let it rest for 10 mins. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper on each side of the steak.
- use a japanese egg roll pan to make japanese egg roll. First beat the egg and add 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of squid brand fish sauce. Spread a thin layer of beaten eggs on a egg roll pan and roll it twice with 2 layers.
- Cut up the cucumber in thin long slices. Finally, a bowl of cooked rice and mix it with some mirin. Then decorate the bowl with the beef, eggs, slices tomatoes and mashed avocado. Use the Seaweed nori to wrap the ingredients with the rice when you start eating.
