Ingredients
- * 1/3 cup yakitori sauce* 1 teaspoons sugar* 1 teaspoon chili powder* 1 teaspoon garlic powder* 1/2 teaspoon paprika* 1 package of dry Japanese noodles (udon, soba, somen, or ramen) cooked according to package* 1 carrot* 1 capsicum * 2 green onions * Chopped peanuts* 2 teaspoon sesame oil* Coriander or Thai basil to garnish
Method
- 1. Combine the Yakitori, sugar, chili, garlic, paprika and sesame oil to a bowl, whisk, set aside.2. Boil water in a medium sized pot and cook the dry udon according to package. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set to the side.3. Preheat non-stick frying pan on medium heat for 2-5 minutes, add half of the sesame oil. 4. Add the chopped vegetables and stir fry until they start to brown slightly 5. Add the cooked noodles and chopped peanuts to the pan and mix with the noodles. Once plated, pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables so it forms a pool of delicious Yakitori dressing around the noodles. Garnish with the green herbs or scallions and serve.
