Ingredients
- Wombok
- daikon
- korean chilli powder
- fish sauce
- salt
- white sugar
- water
- spring onions
- garlic
- rice/regular flour
Method
- Cut up half a wombok into 5cm pieces, put in large bowl with 3 tbs of sugar, 1 tbs of salt and 2 tbs of water, mix and leave for 30 mins.
- Blend 100g of daikon and 120ml of water together and put in a bowl with 1/2 cup of chilli powder and 1/2 cup of fish sauce, 1.5 tbs of chopped garlic, 1/4 cups of sugar and mix well
- Chop half a bunch of spring onions into 10cm long pieces
- Mix 80ml of water and 1/2 tbs of rice flour or regular flour and bring to boil and boil for 15 secs
- Chop daikon into thin strips and add to the wombok, as well as the spring onions
- Add the chilli mixture and the flour mixture gradually into the wombok and mix with your hands (wear gloves) add as much chilli mixture as per your liking
- Put in a jar and store in the fridge - can enjoy straight away
