Ingredients
- 1.5 kg pork spare ribs, cut into bite sized pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small brown onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped or grated
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ABC ketcap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1-2 tsp chili powder
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a large, deep fry pan and stir to ensure the ingredients are all thoroughly combined
- On a medium heat, cover the pan with a lid and cook the pork for 10 minutes, stirring a couple of times
- Continue to cook on a medium heat, uncovered, for another 20 minutes. Stir the pork occasionally. The sauce will become thick and glossy
- Serve with steamed rice and Asian greens
