Ingredients
- 2 porterhouse steaks
- Olive Oil
- 180g of Hakubaku Ramen or soba noodles
- 2tsp sesame oil
- 3tbps of miso paste
- 100ml mirin
- 3 spring onions sliced
- Seemed seeds to top
- Salt
Method
- Prep steak - place steak fillets on paper towel and cover with salt. Place more paper towel on top to absorb the moisture.
- Cook noodles - Bring a pot of water to boil, and cook noodles according to packet instructions. Drain into colander, drizzle sesame oil and mix in.
- Cook steak - heat pan to high, but not highest. Add olive oil. Cook steaks to desired doneness. One cooked, use scissors or a knife and chopping board to cut steak into bite size pieces.
- Cook dressing - place miso and mirin into the noodle pot and heat on medium low. Let it bubble while stirring until combined and reduced a little.
- Serve - layer serving bowls with noodles, steak, miso dressing, sesame seeds, and green onion.
