Ingredients
- 1 1/4 tsp cornflour
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 2 tsp ginger grated
- 500g pork mince
- 1/2 bunch spring onions
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts finely chopped
- 1 iceberg lettuce
- handful fried shallots
- Handful mint
Method
- In a bowl make sauce by dissolving cornflour in water. Then add soy sauce, oyster sauce, 3/4 of sesame oil and rice wine vinegar.
- Add remaining oil into hot pan. Then fry garlic and ginger for a few seconds.
- Add pork mince and cook until white.
- Lower the heat to medium. Add all vegetables and cook for 5 minutes
- Add sauce and cook for another 3 minutes or until all liquid has thickens and covers mix
- Break lettuce into cups and fill with cooked filling. Top with spring onions, fried shallots and mint
