
Ingredients
- Obento Sushi seasoning 1-2 tablespoons
- Obento Yaki Nori Seaweed 1-2 sheets
- 1 cup Sushi Rice
- Tuna
- avocado or choice of toppings
Method
- Wash the rice thoroughly. Add 1 cup of rice to 1½ cups of cool water. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water has been absorbed. Turn off heat and allow to sit for 10 minutes to cool.
- To make the sushi, Sprinkle sushi seasoning over cooled rice and mix through gently2. Place nori seaweed, shiny side down on the surface of the bamboo rolling mat3. Spread vinegared rice evenly over the nori, keeping about 2 cm at the far end of the sheet free from rice4. Place the fillings for your roll on top of the rice.5. Lift the front of the bamboo mat closest to you and begin to roll the sheet tightly. Just before reaching the end of the sheet wet the exposed strip with a little water. Apply a gentle pressure to join the edges of the nori
