Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked Sushi rice
- 9 tbsp obento Japanese sushi seasoning
- 1/4 cucumber sticks thinly sliced
- 500g cooked teriyaki chicken
- 1 carrot thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp kewpi mayonnaise
- 1 sheet Obento Japanese Yaki Nori For Sushi
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Method
- In a shallow bowl fold the sushi seasoning into the cooked sushi rice and leave to cool to room temperature
- Place sheet of nori, shiny side down onto bamboo mat
- Spread cooled sushi rice onto nori
- Place chicken and vegetables on-top of rice and roll the sushi using the bamboo mat
- Add a splash of water to the end of the nori so it sticks and leave for 5-10 mins to soften before cutting
- Serve with soy sauce and your favourite accompaniment
