Ingredients
- 300g Tempe, cut into cube bite size
- 2 cloves shallot, peel, slice thinly
- 1 clove garlic, peel, slice thinly
- 1cm galangal, bruised
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 red chilly, slice thinly
- 1 green chilly, slice thinly
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbs sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbs vegetable oil
- 50ml water
Method
- Heat the pan, put 1tbs oil, sautee the tempe for 2-3minutes until slightly golden brown colour then put aside
- Heat the pan, put 1tbs oil, add the shallot, garlic, chillies and bay leaf. Sautee for 2 minutes
- Put the tempe back into the pan, season it with sugar, sweet soy sauce, water, salt and pepper to taste
- Stir in until the tempe cooked and coated with the glazed
- Ready to eat
