Ingredients
- 80ml soy sauce
- 80ml mirin
- 80ml cooking sake
- 225g can pineapple pieces
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp ginger
- 600g chicken breast
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Steamed rice
- Sliced green shallots
Method
- Combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger and sugar in a jug
- Cook chicken until golden brown
- Add sauce to chicken and simmer for 10 mins
- Add cornflour, pineapple pieces and sesame oil and cook for 1-2mins
- Serve with rice and shallots
