Ingredients
- 1 cup of Sushi rice
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 chicken breast
- 2 Yaki Nori sheets
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/4 Cucumber
- 1 carrot
- Pickled ginger
- Sesame seeds
- Kupie Mayonnaise
- Soy sauce
- Sushi seasoning
- Teriyaki sauce
- Wasabi
- 1/2 cup of Edamame beans
Method
- Rise sushi rice and then cook sushi rice.
- While the sushi rice is cooking. Slice chicken breast. Heat pan and use vegetable oil. When the pan is hot cook chicken. When the chicken is cooked, coat chicken in Teriyaki sauce and let the sauce get sticky in the pan.
- While the rice and chicken are cooking. Slice avocado and cucumber also julienne the carrot. Place edamame beans in a microwave safe bowl with water and cook for 1 min.
- When the rice is cooked season with sushi seasoning. Portion out the rice. Tear yaki noti sheets and stir into the rice. Put bowls in the fridge to cool for 5 mins.
- Arrange carrot, avocado, cucumber, edamame beans, and chicken in the bowl with the cooled rice.
- Top with your favourite sushi toppings including sesame seeds, Kupie mayonnaise, soy sauce and wasabi.
