- HAKUBAKU - ORGANIC RAMEN NOODLES
Method
- Slice the beef into strips and marinade with 1 tbsp of sesame oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy, 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar and tbsp of garlic powder. Let it marinate for 30 mins + (longer the better)
- Prepare your ingredients: Chop up all the veggies, mince 3 garlic cloves, slice 1 whole red onion, grate 1 tsp fresh ginger and finely dice up your red chilli.
- Get cooking! Prepare a pot for your noodles by bringing water to a boil
- Cook the meat: in a separate pot, put a splash of oil into a large pot and once hot, add in the beef. Cook until all the meat has browned. Remove the beef and juices from the pot.
- Add more oil to the pot, and once warm add your sliced onion. Cook until softened.
- Add in the garlic, ginger and chilli - stir for 1 min until fragrant.
- Add your noodles to the boiling water! Start your timer. 4 minutes for the Hakubaku organic Ramen noodles!
- Add all the veggies to the pot and mix. Add in another 2x tbsp of soy sauce, a tbsp of oyster sauce, a tsp of sesame oil and a dash of rice wine vinegar. Cover the veggies with the sauces and simmer for a minute until tender.
- Add the beef and the juices back into the pot and stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Once your noodles are ready, remove from the heat and drain
- Assemble! Add your noodles, and stir fry together.
- Serve with your favourite chilli oil and enjoy!
