Ingredients
- Sashimi tuna block
- Salt and pepper
- Panko
- Plain flour
- 1 egg
- Nori: cut for the size of tuna to wrap around
- Cooking oil
- Blue cheese 20g
- Butter 7g
- White wine 20ml
- Spring onions
- A touch of soy sauce
- Sliced brown onion if you like
- Sesame seed for topping
Method
- Tuna Katsu 1. Put salt and pepper on tuna 2. Wrap tuna with Nori 3. Put plain flour to coat the tuna 4. Beat an egg in a bowel and put the tuna in the bowel quickly 5. Coat tuna with panko 6. Heat oil, Deep fry tuna Katsu middle heat until panko gets golden brown but not too long if you want raw inside
- Blue cheese sauce 1. Melt butter in a sauce pan 2. Put cheese in the pan and melt completely, mixing all the time and once everything mixed and melt, stop the heat 3. Pour white wine, put heat on again and keep mixing until the sauce gets little bit thickened
- Garnish and toppings 1. Thin slice brown onion and soaked in water 2. Cut spring onions 3. Prepare sesame whichever white or black if you like
