Ingredients
- Fresh tuna 500g
- Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce 200g
- Garlic butter 50g
- Sesame seeds 100g
- Olive oil 1 tablespoon
- Kewpie Roasted Sesame sauce
- Kewpie sauce
- 2 cups jasmine rice
Method
- Cook 2 cups of rice as per packet instructions
- Cut tuna into 2cm strips and coat in the Lee Kum Kee Char Siu sauce
- Coat the tuna strips in sesame seeds so they are fully covered
- In a medium heated pan combine garlic butter and olive oil, place the tuna in the pan and cook whilst rotating tuna, cook until desired. You may want your tuna rare to medium depending on preference
- Once tuna is cooked, take out of pan and set aside
- Add 80ml of Roasted Sesame Kewpie Sauce to the pan with the remaining sauces from when tuna was cooked and cook on low heat for 30 seconds and mix
- Serve rice, serve tuna on top of rice and dish out the sauce in the pan evenly between dishes. Top with a drizzle of Kewpie Sauce, and serve and enjoy!
