Ingredients
- Kewpie mayonnaise, 1 tbs
- 2 cucumber
- Dill (5 sprigs)
- 1/4 red onion
- Small handful of lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper
- 5ml lemon juice
- 5ml olive oil
- 50ml Balsamic vinegar
- Yellowfin tuna steak
Method
- Heat pan with high smoke point oil (such as grapeseed oil).cook tuna steak on high heat until brown on both sides.
- Heat balsamic vinegar in pan on medium head u til it thickens.
- Salad:1. Slice cucumber and onion into a thin slices, placing into a salad bowl.2. Tear lettuce into bit sized pieces and add to cucumber.3. In a small bowl, mix your dressing until fully combined. 1 part lemon juice, 1.5 parts mayonnaise, 2 parts olive oil (depends on how much dressing you like, but for me, 1 part = about 1 tsp). Salt, pepper, dill to taste (I recommend going heavy on the dill.4. Mix dressing with salad and serve.
